FOUNDER & CEO MAYBECK DESIGN
The face behind Maybeck Design, Danielle May Harbeck is a demonstrated leader and celebrated interior designer with an international reputation in the design industry. Australian born & raised Danielle May Harbeck has traveled the world designing & expanding her craft.
Danielle’s background in Architecture organically expanded into an interior focus & passion. She prides herself in bringing a tremendous level of integrity to every single endeavor she takes on.
Her ability to envision the ‘whole’ of a design concept, & then qualify & follow through with the ‘parts’ that would create that vision, is a unique process. She has an innate desire to create & design interiors that exceed her clients’ expectations.
With an eye for quality, a superior sense of style, & a client-centered approach to business, Danielle is an innovative designer, enabling her to deliver focused development, follow through & total completion to each aspect of her designs. Now based in Dallas, TX.

Senior Interior Designer
Born and raised in south Louisiana, the vibrant blend of cultural influences shaped my artistic vision from a young age. I fell in love with the colorful facades of historic, French, architecture that tells stories of a bygone era. The rich heritage of Louisiana left an indelible mark on me.
With a background in global, luxury residential and hospitality design, my work is a celebration of history and culture, merging traditional design elements with modern aesthetics and functionality. I strive to create spaces that are not only elegant but also deeply personal-spaces that tell the stories of people, place, and time.
I bring extensive experience in all phases of the project process, yet my true passion is creating unique and refined spaces through expert space planning, custom FFE design, and the carefully curated textile and material selections.
Through my journey, I hope to inspire future generations of designers to explore the intersection of tradition, innovation, and self expression.

Junior Interior Designer
Chloe is a passionate creative professional deeply immersed in the world of media, communications, and interior design. My academic journey, culminating in a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and a Master's Degree in Media & Communications, laid the foundation for my career. Shortly after my studies, I ventured into the world of interior design, blending my academic background with my love for creativity and aesthetics. I've always seen myself as a lifelong learner, constantly seeking to understand more about the world around us and how we connect within it. My fascination isn't just with what's new in the world of design and visual communication but also with how we got here — the history behind the mediums, the evolution of art movements, and the stories that have been told over the years. It's this blend of past and present that informs my approach and keeps my work fresh and relevant.

Senior Interior Designer
Our in-house Senior Project Architect offers the complete range of services, giving each project boundaries, balance, and beauty. Our architect energizes each project with the brilliance of a single, coherent concept by ebbing from the exterior to the interior and back sharing design philosophy throughout. With fifteen years of experience in healthcare, multi-family housing, residential construction, commercial development, and hospitality both abroad and domestically, they drive cost to value and design each project to fit the entire development's vision. Using an efficient project outline, coordination with both new and existing structures and systems, and high-level and in-depth reviews at project checkpoints, they offer a keen focus on carrying out project designs and documentation strategically to fit budget and time.

Senior Interior Designer
Madara joins Maybeck Design with a strong professional and academic background in Interior Design. She is recognized for her conceptual and visionary ideas, bringing proven technical skills and competence in project management with a demonstrated success in industry projects.
Madara's Interior Design career began in Sri Lanka, where she gained extensive work experience in retail, residential, hospitality, and healthcare sectors of Colombo. Now based in the United States, she brings additional expertise and technical know-how in a variety of commercial design projects including government, sports facility, multi-family, and office remodels.
Academically, she holds a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Iowa State University, and a Bachelor of Honors (First Class) in Interior Design from Northumbria University, UK. Her graduate thesis explored “Narrative Environments in Hotel Design” with a focus on Las Vegas Themed Hotels. In 2023, she was selected as a Metropolis Future 100 Winner, recognizing top graduating students in North America in Architecture and Interior Design.Her design approach is inspired by one of her favorite quotes, “Design is in everything we make, but it’s also between those things - a mix of craft, science, storytelling, propaganda and philosophy.” She strongly believes in the impact of context in creating unique spaces that elevate the overall human experience.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, creative writing and exploring new cultural and culinary adventures. She lives with her husband, Chad, and their cat, Emmy.

With a background in commercial Interior Design, Abbi is a creative who specializes in crafting functional and inspiring spaces for corporate offices and multi-family projects. She brings a deep appreciation for intentional and thoughtful design, favoring warm, refined aesthetics that evoke comfort and simplicity without sacrificing sophistication. Guided by a meticulous eye for detail and precision in technical drafting, Abbi balances beauty with purpose—creating environments that feel grounded, welcoming, and enduring.

Senior Interior Designer and Project Manager
Fay Leff is a seasoned Interior Designer with over 12 years of experience specializing in creating thoughtful, brand-driven environments across workplace, hospitality, multi-family, education, and more. Holding a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture + Design from Drexel University and NCIDQ certification, she combines expert-level building information modeling skills with a keen eye for materials and finishes that align with client goals and budgets.
Her approach integrates design psychology and space optimization to craft modern, forward-thinking interiors that resonate with users and elevate brand identity. Leff’s work has been recognized in prestigious publications such as Work Design Magazine, Dexigner, and Architects Magazine, earning awards and inclusion in manufacturer brochures.
Known for her strategic creativity and collaborative spirit, Leff partners with clients to deliver spaces that are both functional and inspiring.
Outside of her professional life, Fay is an avid traveler with a deep passion for Latin and South American countries. She has a particular fascination with Mayan culture and embraces the vibrant Caribbean island lifestyle, which often inspires her design sensibility and appreciation for rich textures, colors, natural textures and materials, and cultural narratives.

Cameron is a Southern California native with a passion for design, travel, and storytelling. With a strong foundation across residential, hospitality, commercial, and retail design, she brings a versatile and elevated approach to every project—whether it’s local or cross-country, large-scale or intimate.
Her work is driven by the belief that thoughtful, detail-rich design leaves a lasting impact. She collaborates closely with clients to craft spaces that are both deeply personal and universally resonant.
In addition to her design practice, Cameron hosts a podcast exploring the intersections of creativity, entrepreneurship, health/wellness, and the business world. Her strong business development acumen and intuitive understanding of client needs have been instrumental in growing her portfolio and building lasting industry relationships.

Her design philosophy is centered around the idea that a space should be a reflection of the people who inhabit it. She is committed to providing clients with the highest level of service and takes pride in her ability to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Throughout her 10-year career in design, what she enjoys most is seeing a project go from concept to completion.

Marie Harbeck is our in house Real Estate Agent both Commercial and Residential. She has over 20 years experience in real estate sales both international and throughout the United States. Marie brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and executes deals for our clients efficiently, timely and with the understanding that our clients best interests are placed first and foremost. She protects our clients and represents them in both land and building sales or leases.
